Dr. Lilia M. Pacini, MD F.A.C.O.G is a Board Certified obstetrician and gynecologist. She is originally from Barranquilla, Colombia. She completed her residency in University of Texas in Houston at LBJ General Hospital. She enjoys both obstetrics and gynecology equally. Dr. Pacini is passionate about providing laparoscopic surgery and minimally invasive surgical techniques for her patients. Dr. Pacini loves the desert area and as one of the practice owners she is committed to staying in the area. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. In her free time she enjoys working with her husband at their clothing store in Palm Springs, British Invasion, enjoys dancing, rock climbing, horseback riding, traveling, spending time with her three children and taking her dog Bono for hikes.

Jolyn Fergon, NP, CNM is a Certified Women’s Healthcare Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife and is also one of the practice owners. She has been providing healthcare to women in valley for 17 years. She has a Master’s degree in Nursing and is working towards her doctorate degree. She grew up in the state of Washington but moved to the desert in high school. After working as a labor and delivery nurse for six years she decided to become a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner; inspired by the positive, close relationships that are built between patients and providers. Her professional interest include all aspects of women’s health care with an emphasis and passion on infertility treatments and is able to provide infertility treatments including but not limited to Intrauterine Insemination. She provides routine obstetrics and gynecology and currently has privileges to perform low risk deliveries at Desert Regional Medical Center. In her free time she is actively involved in volunteering in children’s services at Southwest Community Church. She enjoys reading, scrap-booking and spending time with her husband and two children. You might run into her hiking the local bump & grind trail in Palm Desert!

Dr. Sunaina Sehwani, MD is a board certified physician who joined our team in July 2009. She completed her training at St Luke's in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Originally from the Philippines, Dr. Sehwani completed her medical studies and internship program at the University of Santo Tomas. She provides full scope obstetric and gynecologic care and has a lot of experience in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. In her spare time you can find her out shopping for the latest fashions or visiting family in Los Angeles. She enjoys dining with her friends, catching the latest movie, and spending time with her puppy, Lucky. She is very close to her family and travels as often as she can. She has the most contagious laugh and is a wonderful addition to the group!

Sandra Moran, NP was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. After working as a nurse for ten years she completed her Masters in Science nursing program at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. During her graduate program, Sandy had the opportunity to train under the expertise of Stanford University physicians in obstetrics and gynecology enhancing her clinical experience in prenatal care and preventative women’s health. Sandy has four sons and enjoys spending time with them and enjoying the weather that southern California provides. She recently started running and successfully completed her first half marathon. Setting her sites higher, she is now training for the San Diego Marathon.

Theresa Lopez-Zepeda, NP was born and raised in Indio. She received her Bachelors in Nursing at Mount St. Mary’s College and worked as a nurse for JFK hospital for nine years before returning to school to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. After completing her Masters in Nursing, Theresa joined Advanced Women’s Healthcare. She provides gynecological care to our patients. Since then she has done advanced training with the American Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology and is able to perform both the colposcopy and LEEP procedure to our patients in the office. She is married and two young children. She enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering in her children’s school.
