Dr. Lilia M. Pacini, F.A.C.O.G. is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist and is Board Certified in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. She is originally from Barranquilla, Colombia. She completed her residency at University of Texas in Houston in 2004, and then relocated to Palm Springs. She is passionate about both Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Pacini offers minimally invasive surgery, including procedures with the da Vinci Robot. Dr. Pacini loves the desert area and as one of the practice owners, she is committed to staying in the area. She is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and two daughters. She is very active and enjoys yoga, dancing, hiking, rock climbing, horseback riding, traveling, and spending time with her dog, Sampson.
Dr. Jolyn Fergon, DNP, WHNP, CNM is a Certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, and completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice at Duke University. She is one of the founders and practice owners and has been providing healthcare to women in the valley for over 20 years. She grew up in the state of Washington and moved to the desert during high school. After working as a labor and delivery nurse for six years, she decided to become a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. Her professional interests include all aspects of women's healthcare with an emphasis on infertility treatments. She is able to provide infertility treatments including but not limited to; Intrauterine Insemination and Clomid/Gonadotropin induced cycles. She provides routine obstetrics and gynecology. She enjoys reading, scrapbooking, and spending time with her husband and two children. You might run into her hiking the local bump & grind trail in Palm Desert.
Dr. Maria Teresa Datan Benitez, F.A.C.O.G. is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She joined our team in December 2013. She enjoys obstetrics and gynecology alike. Dr. Benitez is originally from the Philippines, and graduated from the Cebu Institute of Medicine. She did her first OBGYN residency program in the Philippines and worked as a doctor there for 10 years before coming to the United States. She then completed her second OBGYN residency program at State University of New York at Buffalo. She worked as a physician in Michigan for 5 years before relocating to California to be closer to her family. In her spare time, Dr. Benitez likes to relax at home, spending time with her husband, kids, and 2 dogs. She enjoys baking, doing needle work, and scrapbooking.
Dr. Lara T. Hasan, is a board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She completed medical school at Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, Ohio; a top 25 US medical school. She then continued her residency training at Case Western Reserve University/Metrohealth Medical Center, where she received an award for enhancing patient-physician relationships. Having lived in seven countries on three continents, she relates to patients from diverse backgrounds, speaks multiple languages, and is committed to providing quality care for all patients. She is passionate about obstetrics as a natural life process and minimally invasive approaches to gynecological issues. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking new recipes, taking Zumba classes, and watching foreign films.
Kelli Nowak, PA-C was born and raised in northeastern Illinois, near Chicago. She graduated from Southern Illinois University with her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2013. She specialized as an OB/GYN Physician Assistant (PA) and worked in the west suburbs of Chicago for two years until the sunny climate and wonderful people of California lured her here in 2016. She is passionate about women’s health and is excited to continue this very fulfilling work with her remarkable colleagues at Advanced Women’s Healthcare. In her spare time Kelli enjoys travelling, hiking, reading, and running obstacle course races.
Barbara Welty, NP-C has been a resident of the Coachella Valley for more than 30 years. She and her husband have been married for over 30 years, and they raised their 2 children here. She practiced as a RN for more than 18 years at JFK Hospital as a Labor and Delivery Nurse, and was also the Perinatal Educator for 5 years. Barbara received her BSN from the University of Phoenix, and then continued her education to earn her MSN with a Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Phoenix in February 2010. After her graduation, she worked locally as a Women's Nurse Practitioner. You can spot Barbara and her husband walking her Great Dane and her Lhasa Apso in the desert.
Eloisa Agatep, NP-C is a Family Nurse Practitioner born and raised in the Philippines, who holds a Medical degree from Far Eastern University in Manila. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from University of Santo Tomas and graduating from her residency in OB/GYN at Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center, she served in the military as Air Force Captain. While in the military, she obtained her BS Nursing degree. When she came to the USA in 2006, she worked as a Registered Nurse in Telemetry and Labor and Delivery. Her next endeavor was obtaining a Master's degree in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner diploma from Charles R. Drew University. She was awarded Fellow of Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society, a member of the Nursing Society, and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her interests and pleasures are spending time with family and friends, traveling, hiking and keeping up with the latest in medical practice and techniques in Women's Health.
Tatiana Shidaki, NP-C is a Board Certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, and was born and raised on the island of Oahu, Hawai'i. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Biology from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and received her Master's in Science specializing in Women's Health from University of Nebraska Medical Center. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Prior to joining this team, she worked as a nurse on the cardiac and labor and delivery units at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha since 2010. She loves the unique relationships that she is able to build with women throughout the many changes in their lives and enjoys assisting women in making personalized healthcare decisions. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and gardening. When possible, she returns to her home on Oahu to spend time with family and friends, enjoy the beach, and the local cuisine.
